Smartec UTI evaluation kit

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The UTI evaluation kit is especially designed for quick setup and easy design. The small PC board can be connected directly to a PC via a COM port. All 16 modes of the UTI can be chosen remotely which demonstrates how easy it is to connect any type of sensor to the UTI.

The UTI data can be read with a terminal program (Windows 95/98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista) or processed by yourself using a simple program or script. We included a Labview program to get visualised results immediately. With this kit Smartec shows that it is easy to replace hardware with software when using the UTI.

MEASURING SYSTEM

Although the UTI evaluation board was developed as a tool to better understand the complexities of the UTI, this board can just as well be used as a ready to go measuring system. It can be used for measuring small capacitances, thermistors, Platinum elements, resistive bridges etc., without the need to develop any hardware or software.

It can be used to connect our humidity sensor HS07 (small capacitor) or our pressure sensors SPDxxx (resistive bridge).
